I’ve been reflecting on a conversation I had with a couple of longtime customers this week, and it made me realize something I want to share.
I’ve owned this business for almost 30 years, and one of the things I’m most grateful for is the trust I have in my staff. I’m only in the shop a few times a week — not because I’m stepping back, but because they’ve earned my trust in every possible way.
They take such good care of our customers and the day‑to‑day operations that I don’t feel the need to hover or interfere. I still do all the bookkeeping from the home office, but the heart of this place runs smoothly because of the wonderful people who show up here every day with pride and dedication.
To my staff: thank you.
To our customers: thank you for trusting them as much as I do.
